Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 12, 2026 · Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Korop Development ("we", "us", "our") — an independent software studio operated by Yaroslav Karaiev — collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile applications, including PawsToScroll (collectively, the "Apps"), and this website (the "Site").

We do not collect any data. The Apps have no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no accounts and no servers of our own. Everything the Apps produce stays on your device.

1. Who we are

Data controller: Korop Development (Yaroslav Karaiev), operating as a sole developer.
Contact: korop.development@gmail.com

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

The Apps do not require account registration. You may choose to contact us by email — in that case we receive your email address and the contents of your message, used only to respond to you.

2.2 Information collected automatically

None. The Apps contain no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not use Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics or any comparable service. No advertising identifier, device identifier, IP-derived location or usage event is transmitted to us or to anyone else.

The Apps make no network requests for the purpose of collecting data. They are fully functional offline.

2.3 Information stored only on your device

The Apps store certain data locally on your device and do not transmit it to us. This includes your settings, preferences, earned-time balance, exercise counts, list of blocked apps, and similar in-app state. Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device.

2.4 Camera

PawsToScroll uses your device's camera to count exercise repetitions (push-ups, squats) in real time using on-device pose detection (Google ML Kit). The camera feed is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted off the device. No images, video, or biometric data leave your phone.

2.5 Permissions the App requests

PawsToScroll asks for permissions that look sensitive, so here is exactly what each one is used for:

  • Usage access — to detect which app is currently in the foreground, so a blocked app can be closed when your earned balance is zero. The App reads only the package name of the app in front. It does not read content, messages, passwords or browsing history, and this information never leaves your device.
  • Display over other apps — to show the blocking screen on top of a blocked app.
  • Camera — to count exercise repetitions, as described in section 2.4. Active only during a workout.
  • Notifications — to display the ongoing notification required by Android for the background blocking service.

3. How we use information

  • To provide and operate the Apps, using data that stays on your device.
  • To respond to your support requests when you email us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for any purpose other than those listed above.

4. Legal bases (for users in the EEA / UK)

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") applies, we rely on the following legal bases for processing:

  • Legitimate interests — to answer support emails you send us.

Because the Apps collect no personal data, no other processing takes place.

5. Sharing of information

We do not share personal data with third parties except:

  • When required by law, court order, or to protect legal rights.

6. Data retention

Locally-stored data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. We hold no copy of it. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and a reasonable period afterwards.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (EEA, UK, California, and certain other regions), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email korop.development@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

The Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Security

All App data stays on your device, protected by Android's standard application sandbox. Since nothing is transmitted, there is no data in transit to intercept.

10. International transfers

Because the Apps transmit no personal data, no international transfer of your data takes place. The only exception is an email you choose to send us, which is processed by our email provider.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via this website. Continued use of the Apps after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
