Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 12, 2026 · Last updated: May 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Korop Development ("we", "us", "our") — an independent software studio operated by Yaroslav Karaiev — collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile applications, including Push up Scroll down (collectively, the "Apps"), and this website (the "Site").
We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little data as possible. Where data is processed, it is processed by trusted third parties (Google) under their own privacy policies, listed below.
1. Who we are
Data controller: Korop Development (Yaroslav Karaiev),
operating as a sole developer.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
The Apps do not require account registration. You may choose to contact us by email — in that case we receive your email address and the contents of your message, used only to respond to you.
2.2 Information collected automatically by third-party SDKs
To keep the Apps free, stable, and improvable, we integrate the following third-party services. Each of them collects certain technical information directly from your device:
Google AdMob (advertising)
Some Apps display advertising provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect: device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), IP address, coarse location derived from IP, device type and operating system version, app version, and ad interaction events. This is used to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where you have consented.
Learn more: Google Ads & Privacy. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in Android settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics, a Google service, collects aggregated, pseudonymous usage data such as: app open events, screens visited, session duration, device model, OS version, language, country (derived from IP), and a randomly generated installation identifier. We use this only to understand how the Apps are used and to prioritize improvements. We never receive your name, email, phone number, or precise location through Analytics.
Learn more: Firebase Privacy & Security.
Firebase Crashlytics
When the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects a crash report containing: stack trace, device model, OS version, app version, and a randomly generated installation identifier. This is used exclusively to diagnose and fix crashes. Crash reports do not include your name, email, or content you have entered into the App.
Google Play Billing
If an App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We only receive a confirmation that a purchase was made and a Google-issued purchase token, used to unlock the relevant feature on your device. Refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes payment information.
2.3 Information stored only on your device
The Apps store certain data locally on your device and do not transmit it to us. This includes your settings, preferences, earned-time balance, exercise counts, list of blocked apps, and similar in-app state. Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device.
2.4 Camera
Push up Scroll down uses your device's camera to count exercise repetitions (push-ups, squats) in real time using on-device pose detection (Google ML Kit). The camera feed is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted off the device. No images, video, or biometric data leave your phone.
3. How we use information
- To provide and operate the Apps.
- To diagnose and fix crashes and bugs (via Crashlytics).
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Apps (via Analytics).
- To display ads (via AdMob), where applicable.
- To process purchases (via Google Play Billing), where applicable.
- To respond to your support requests when you email us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for any purpose other than those listed above.
4. Legal bases (for users in the EEA / UK)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") applies, we rely on the following legal bases for processing:
- Legitimate interests — for crash reporting and aggregated analytics, to keep the Apps stable and useful.
- Consent — for personalized advertising and any optional tracking. You can withdraw consent at any time through the in-app consent dialog or Android system settings.
- Contract performance — for processing purchases through Google Play Billing.
5. Sharing of information
We do not share personal data with third parties except:
- With Google (AdMob, Firebase, Play Billing) as described above, in their role as processors / independent controllers under their own policies.
- When required by law, court order, or to protect legal rights.
6. Data retention
Locally-stored data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Analytics and Crashlytics data are retained by Google for the periods described in their documentation (typically up to 14 months for Analytics events and 90 days for Crashlytics crash logs). Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and a reasonable period afterwards.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (EEA, UK, California, and certain other regions), you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email korop.development@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's privacy
The Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Security
We rely on the security infrastructure of Google services for all data transmission and storage outside your device. On-device data is protected by Android's standard application sandbox. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
The third-party services we use (Google AdMob, Firebase, Google Play Billing) may process data in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Google relies on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via this website. Continued use of the Apps after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
